Dr. Sina Joorabchi completed his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan.
Afterward, he obtained his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his internship and residency training in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at the St. John Providence Health System in Madison Heights, MI. Dr. Joorabchi furthered his training in the treatment of Allergies by achieving Fellow Status with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Joorabchi is an appointed Clinical Assistant Professor for Nova Southeastern University. He regularly teaches Residents, Students and Lectures at various conferences. He holds professional memberships with the following associations: American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Audiologist
Dr. Maria Roa is a native from Bogotá, Colombia and moved to Florida in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Florida State University in 2018 and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, Summa Cum Laude. Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Roa learned Best Practices of audiological care for hearing aid programming, using Real Ear Verification to provide exceptional hearing care to all her patients. Dr. Roa went on to complete her 4th year externship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she trained with UNC faculty and implemented the latest evidence-based protocols recommended by the American Academy of Audiology for the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and related auditory disorders.
Dr. Roa prides herself in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all patients, maintaining the same philosophy she learned during her graduate studies. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to meet her patients’ communication needs and improve their quality of life. Her specialties include adult diagnostics, adult amplification treatment, tinnitus management, and aural rehabilitation.
Physician Assistant
Sharon Whitehorn is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been working in the field of ENT since 2012. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University. She completed her training at Nova Southeastern University where she obtained her Masters of Medical Science. Sharon is dedicated to her patients by providing them the best medical care available. She has also served as a clinical preceptor for Physician Assistant students from Nova Southeastern University and undergraduate students. Sharon is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Speech Pathology
Melissa Grassia-Chisholm is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in voice and swallowing disorders. She studied vocal performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and later received her bachelor’s degree at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Music has always been her passion and sings locally today. She continued to pursue the medical side of voice management and received her Master’s Degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Melissa feels blessed to have served the South Florida community for the past 10 years providing voice therapy to singers and individuals with voice disorders. During her professional career she has practiced in multiple settings including hospitals, acute rehab, nursing homes, outpatient, and has taught multiple voice courses at multiple Universities. She enjoys giving back to the community and has been seen at a variety of venues providing education workshops to families, caregivers, and people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Melissa is ASHA certified and performs specialized diagnostic assessments including Videostroboscopy, Laryngeal Function Studies, and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES). She is a provider of the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) for Parkinson’s disease.

Physician Assistant
Nicole was born and raised in Miami, FL and grew up in a Cuban household. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Florida and Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Barry University. Prior to her work in ENT, she practiced general pediatrics for 3 years in NYC. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with friends and family. You can find her traveling or lounging at home with her dog Bentley.
Physician Assistant
Ryan Chiarello is a board certified Physician Assistant raised in South Florida and went to Florida State University for my undergraduate degree. At FSU, he was a service scholar and dedicated much of his time to community service and leadership. Inspired by his service experiences, he joined the Peace Corps and served in Peru from 2013-2015, specializing in Community Healthcare. Ryan’s time in the Peace Corps led him to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, he graduated from Barry University’s PA program in 2020. Since then, Ryan has worked in a variety of specialties including neurosurgery and psychiatry. He have found a deep passion in otolaryngology since his journey with South Florida ENT began. Ryan’s goal and mission is to help patients achieve meaningful health outcomes in both big and small ways. Ryan speaks both English and Spanish.
